GROWTH OF WAGES AND MATERIAL RIGHTS IN TIPHON
Dear colleagues, dear members of the trade union,
After several months of demanding negotiations, which INAŠ and SING started in December 2025, we reached an agreement with the Employer on increasing the basic monthly gross salaries for all TIFON employees and on improving additional material rights.
Typhon 1
1. Increase in basic gross salaries
The following increases in the basic gross salary have been agreed for workers in salary grades, with application from 1 May 2026:
E02 – E04: 3% increase
E05 – E11: 5% increase
Zabok warehouse (firefighter handler and guard/firefighter, shift manager and manager): 10% increase
2. Increases at points of sale
Increases in basic gross wages and other rights have been agreed for workers at points of sale, with effect from 1 January 2026.
Salespeople and support staff
Gastronomic sellers/PM A category sellers: from 1.030 € to 1.110 € gross
Gastronomic sellers/PM B category sellers: from 980 € to 1.060 € gross
Auxiliary workers and cleaners: from 980 € to 1.050 € gross
Point of sale managers
Increase in the contracted gross salary by €80
Additional increase of 8%
Calculation example:
Current contracted gross salary: 1.350 €
1.350 € + 80 € = 1.430 €
€1,430 + 8% = €1,544.40
New contracted gross salary: 1.544,40 €
Addition to the category
Managers of PM A category: increase in allowance from 60 € to 100 €
Managers of PM B category: increase in allowance from 30 € to 50 €
3. Increase in meal allowance
An increase in the meal allowance from €66.36 to €100 net, or €33.64 more per month, has been agreed for all TIFON workers, with effect from August 1, 2026.
4. Disbursement and administrative implementation
The intention of the Employer is to calculate and pay all rights agreed in collective bargaining with the salary for July, which will be paid in August.
At the same time, new employment contracts will be delivered to employees. Due to the scope of administrative activities, certain adjustments to the planned deadlines are possible.
5. Why is it important to increase the basic gross salary?
An increase in the contracted gross salary does not only mean a higher basic salary. The law and the collective agreement are related to numerous other rights related to the amount of the basic gross salary.
These include:
Saturday work allowance (15%)
Allowance for work on Sundays and holidays (50%)
Allowance for work in the second shift (10%)
Allowance for work in the third shift (50%)
Overtime allowance (50%)
Past service allowance (0.5% per year of service)
Monthly and quarterly stimulations
Sick leave allowance
Severance pay
Future pension benefits
That is why negotiations on the increase of the basic gross salary represent one of the most important forms of trade union struggle for workers' rights.
6. The strength of a trade union is in the number of members
The results we achieve directly depend on the strength of the union, and the strength of the union is measured by the number of members and the bargaining power that members give to their representatives.
The number of members allows us to have a stronger negotiating position and strengthens the trade union strength.
It's time for togetherness!
We also invite colleagues who are not yet members of the trade union to join us. Together, we can achieve more and better protect our rights. In accordance with the Labour Act, a collective agreement can only be concluded by representative trade unions.
Your membership represents an investment of only 1% of the net monthly salary, and in return you strengthen the trade union's position in relation to the employer and receive the support, protection and benefits that the trade union provides to its members.
